Some frequently asked questions:

A design fee requires that we review the request.  Sometimes we ask for more clarification from the client or the municipal code authority.  Once we have a full understanding of the project we will send a service agreement for review and approval.

It will be the client’s responsibility to obtain any required approvals, whether from their HOA, or their local governing municipalities/jurisdictions. The client can do this themselves or have their contractor do so.  

The time for design completion depends on the complexity of the project and our work schedule.  Once we have determined the scope of the project we will give you an estimate of the time for completion.  The better the understanding that the client has of what they need and want, i.e., not requiring ongoing changes during the design process, the better we are able to meet the promised time schedule.

Every design we provide includes the required calculations and design drawings necessary for the permitting process and is signed and sealed by a Registered Engineer and/or Architect in the State of Arizona. 

In most cases, this process is included in the original fee unless they require added designs that weren’t agreed to in the Services Agreement.
